Responsibilities
Evaluating the financial condition of commercial loan applicants to determine creditworthiness
Assessing financial statements, credit histories, and collateral to support decisions on credit approval or renewal across various products
Conducting annual reviews, monitoring portfolios for early signs of deterioration, and preparing loan presentations to summarize findings and recommendations
Supporting loan production and loss mitigation efforts to maintain the integrity of TFCU’s commercial portfolio
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in business, analytics, finance, or a related field for all levels is required
Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education
Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU's chosen authority
Demonstrates strong analytical, decision-making, and deductive reasoning skills to support sound credit evaluations
Possesses thorough knowledge of financial statement analysis with proven ability to identify and mitigate key risks and assess borrower solvency
Exhibits a clear understanding of core credit metrics and their application in evaluating financial performance and creditworthiness
Maintains proficient knowledge of the structure and composition of shares, loans, and investment portfolios
Operates effectively both independently and collaboratively, with the ability to perform under general or limited supervision
Preferred
Level I: One year of experience in commercial credit account analysis, underwriting and/or portfolio management is preferred
Experience in loan operations, sales, and/or collections is also preferred
Level II: Requires two years of experience in commercial credit account analysis, underwriting and/or portfolio management
Experience in loan operations, sales, and/or collections preferred
