Controls Engineer
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated systems
Develop and configure HMI applications to interface with control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve system performance
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure functionality and reliability
Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel
Maintain documentation of control systems and software configurations
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in PLC programming and HMI development
Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block
Experience with HMI software such as Wonderware, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar
Strong understanding of industrial control systems and instrumentation
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly
Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols
