Responsibilities

Own new sales performance metrics, including pipeline health, conversion rates, attainment, and forecasting accuracy
Establish, monitor, and continuously refine sales KPIs and success metrics across the new sales function
Serve as the single source of truth for sales performance data, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and consistency
Translate data insights into actionable coaching, process improvements, and strategic adjustments
Take full ownership of sales training and ongoing coaching, ensuring consistent execution and skill development
Design and implement onboarding, continuous training programs, and performance reinforcement tied directly to metrics
Actively coach sales team members based on real performance data, call reviews, pipeline analysis, and deal execution
Ensure sales methodology, expectations, and standards are clearly defined and consistently applied
Develop and execute the new sales strategy aligned to revenue goals and growth priorities
Maintain hands-on involvement in the pipeline, deals, and forecasting — comfortable being 'in the weeds' when needed
Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities early through data and direct engagement with the sales process
Drive accountability across the team for execution, follow-through, and results
Partner closely with Marketing to align lead generation, messaging, enablement materials, and campaign performance
Ensure marketing and sales metrics are aligned and clearly understood across teams
Collaborate with Sales leadership to ensure training, data, and execution enable the broader revenue strategy
Provide structured feedback to Product and Customer teams based on sales data and market insights
Prepare and deliver clear, data-driven reporting on sales performance, trends, and forecasts to executive leadership
Own all new sales reporting cadence, dashboards, and performance reviews
Communicate insights and recommendations with clarity, confidence, and business context

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
3+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in B2B or enterprise environments
Proven ability to define, track, and drive performance through metrics
Strong coaching mindset with hands-on experience developing and training sales teams
Highly analytical, with the ability to translate data into strategy and execution
Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels
Proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Ability to travel 20%+ per month
