Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy SAC Planning solutions including:
Budgeting, Forecasting, Rolling Forecasts, and What-If scenarios
Implement:
Versions, hierarchies, and time models
Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and allocations
Advanced formulas and planning logic
Design input-enabled SAC stories and analytical dashboards
Support financial, operational, and KPI-driven planning use cases
Integrate SAC with:
SAP S/4HANA (CDS views / Embedded Analytics-based sources)
SAP HANA Native models (Calculation Views, basic SQL)
SAP BW / BW on HANA
Design planning-ready data models including:
Numerator/denominator logic
Cumulative vs. non-cumulative KPIs
Ensure alignment and consistency between actuals, plans, and forecasts
Model, transform, and prepare data in SAP Datasphere (spaces, views, transformations)
Contribute to overall analytics and planning architecture design
Support hybrid SAP landscapes (BW, HANA, SAC, Datasphere)
Participate in BEx / SAP BO to SAC transition initiatives
Apply SAC Planning best practices and performance optimization techniques
Participate in governance, transports, and release management processes
Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable SAC Planning and Datasphere solutions
Work in Agile or hybrid delivery models
Support UAT, end-user training, and go-live activities
Provide post-go-live support and ongoing enhancements
Collaborate closely with Bilink architects and client stakeholders
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of SAP Analytics experience with a strong focus on SAC Planning
Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud – Planning (models, versions, data actions, advanced formulas)
Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (data modeling, spaces, integrations)
Strong understanding of Planning concepts (Budgeting, Forecasting, Rolling Forecasts, Allocations, Versions)
Strong understanding of SAC Data Actions, Multi-Actions, and Advanced Formulas
Solid SAP data foundation including SAP HANA Native (Calculation Views, basic SQL)
Solid SAP data foundation including SAP BW / BW on HANA
Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Comfortable working in client-facing roles
Preferred
Background in Financial Planning or Controlling (FP&A, CO-PA, Costing)
Exposure to SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Universes – legacy awareness)
Exposure to SAP authorization concepts (SAC / SAP)
SAP certifications in SAP Analytics Cloud
SAP certifications in SAP BW
SAP certifications in SAP HANA
SAP certifications in SAP Datasphere
