Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial planning, growth initiatives, and long-term business strategy
Provide clear financial insights to support decision-making at the board and executive levels
Lead accounting, finance, treasury, FP&A, and compliance functions
Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and industry standards
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Manage financial compliance related to mortgage lending, warehouse facilities, and regulatory requirements
Lead internal and external audits; maintain audit readiness and strong internal controls
Oversee risk management and financial governance frameworks
Manage cash flow, capital structure, and lending facilities to support origination and growth
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance management across the organization
Monitor KPIs to improve operational efficiency and profitability
Enhance financial systems, automation, and reporting capabilities
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
Champion process improvements that scale with company growth
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, VP Finance, or similar)
Significant experience within mortgage lending or financial services required
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, audits, and regulatory environments
Proven success managing capital, risk, and complex financial operations
Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA and/or MBA
Experience supporting high-growth or multi-location organizations
