Responsibilities
Own the product vision and ensure alignment with business outcomes and organizational goals to deliver quality digital solutions
Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Use data, impact analysis and business value to make informed prioritization decisions
Ensure features are clearly defined with acceptance criteria that provide actionable direction for technical teams
Proactively manage scope, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs to deliver maximum value and support informed decision making
Convert complex business requests into clear, concise user stories and technical requirements
Break down high-level concepts into structured, digestible components that enable efficient development and sequencing
Collaborate closely with engineers, architects and QA to ensure understanding and feasibility
Support solution design efforts by providing business context, validating technical approaches, and ensuring solutions meet intended outcomes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 8 years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience supporting custom-built internal applications, 3rd‑party/vendor platforms, or a mix of both
Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including refinement, sprint planning, and dependency management
Working knowledge of system architecture, data flows, and technical feasibility considerations
Skill using modern product tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) for transparency, workflow management, and continuous delivery
Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate options, anticipate impacts, and guide teams toward value‑driven outcomes
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly absorb complex information, ask the right questions, and form well‑reasoned recommendations
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to maintain clarity and focus in environments with changing priorities
Excellent communicator who can tailor messages for diverse audiences, facilitate understanding, and build alignment across teams with a shared understanding
Skilled collaborator who fosters trust, encourages diverse perspectives, and navigates conflict with professionalism and empathy
Adept at translating abstract concepts into understandable terms that support shared understanding and decision‑making
Strong facilitator capable of guiding discussions, driving clarity, and ensuring productive team interactions
Technically conversant, with the ability to engage meaningfully in discussions related to system architecture, data flows, and solution feasibility
Proactive problem‑solver who identifies risks, operational issues, and improvement opportunities with a solutions‑oriented mindset
Preferred
Relevant certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe PO/PM) preferred but not required
