Responsibilities
Serve as a field-facing technical expert supporting electronic health record implementation activities
Collaborate with technical, clinical, and operational stakeholders to gather and translate requirements
Apply deep understanding of technical dependencies, system integration, and platform compatibility
Advise and participate autonomously in the implementation of electronic medical record technologies
Act as a senior technical resource addressing complex integration, informatics, and interoperability challenges
Lead or support feasibility analysis for future technical initiatives
Ensure technical activities align with broader EHR implementation strategies and objectives
Own technical workstreams through completion, ensuring quality and execution discipline
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience in technical or software engineering roles
Proven experience designing and developing software products or major enhancements in healthcare or clinical environments
Demonstrated expertise in systems integration, compatibility, healthcare semantics, and informatics
Ability to work independently as a senior technical authority
Experience supporting projects through end-to-end completion
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field
Preferred
Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
Hands-on experience implementing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including Oracle Health
