Responsibilities
Assist the Marketing team in the proposal process, including info gathering, resume creation, document layout, proposal submission, and interview presentations
Monitor websites for new project opportunities
Support special events and trade shows
Develop layout and graphic design skills in Adobe software (emphasis on InDesign) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Perform tasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews
Make updates in the relationship management (CRM) system
Travel between Apex offices and to client locations to deliver proposals as needed
Fulfill other administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field
0-3 years of professional experience
Foundational writing and editing abilities
Ability to learn Adobe InDesign
Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint
Availability for occasional event support during nonbusiness hours, such as community events
Solid organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills with strong attention to detail
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work in-person at the Fort Myers office. A hybrid work arrangement may be possible pending training and positive performance
Ability to travel between offices for related tasks on occasion
Valid driver's license, safe driving history and reliable transportation
