Responsibilities
Lead the design and analysis of diverse and innovative engineering projects
Collaborate with architects, construction managers, contractors, and other engineers to turn concepts into reality
Oversee QA/QC, mentor junior engineers, and independently manage multiple projects from start to finish
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and provide real-time solutions to challenges
Strengthen client relationships and contribute to new business development
Stay ahead of industry advancements by using tools like structural analysis software, Revit, and other design technologies
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in civil engineering (master's preferred but not required)
5-10 years of structural engineering and project management experience
Expertise in building frame systems and materials such as concrete, steel, and wood
Proficiency with structural analysis software
Licensed in Minnesota or able to obtain licensure promptly (bonus points for multiple state licenses)
Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment
Flexibility to travel nationally for project opportunities
