Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating available labor on the Production floor ensuring the operation is running efficiently. Utilizes outside temp agencies to increase and/or decrease labor levels as volume dictates
Actively assists in cross-training associates across Production/Operations to reduce labor costs and positions associates to perform the proper function(s)
Helps to ensure all jobs on must-mail list are prioritized and completed in timely manner. Increases communication between departments to ensure must-mail deadlines are met
Communicates with and supports the leads, supervisors and managers throughout the Operations team
Reads, comprehends and takes appropriate action regarding emails/remedy. Correctly follows instructions, identifies problems and provides solutions
Follows all Broadridge and departmental policies and procedures
May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3-5 years in Production Environment preferred
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to interact and effectively communicate with team members, internal and external and liaisons
Ability to take direction and to work with sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Proficient in Microsoft office and Computer skills
Proficient in the English language
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull and reach throughout duration of assigned 12-hour shifts
Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge's policies
Preferred
Associates degree preferred, or related Production experience
