Responsibilities

Reconciles balance sheet accounts assigned and resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities by collecting and analyzing account information
Downloads daily revenue totals from patient collection software and uploads to general ledger
Assists Sr. Accounting Specialist with concentration account balancing, and serves as backup
Prepares journal entries to support the month end close process
Assists Financial Accountants and Supervisors, as needed
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

HS DIPLOMA/GED
1-2 years of accounting related experience

Preferred

Associate's Degree – with coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business related areas
