Regulatory Analyst
The California Public Utilities Commission is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to work on consumer protection and the energy transition. This role involves overseeing Core Transport Agents (CTAs) and drafting reports that impact non-utility natural gas providers while ensuring consumer protection.

Work on issues related to Core Transport Agents (CTAs) who are non-utility natural gas providers
Draft an annual report and support proceedings that impact CTAs
Be assigned to renewable gas policy proceedings
Qualification
Required
Eligibility for the position
Experience related to public utilities and/or transportation in the areas of economics, finance, or policy
Completed STD 678 application form
Experience conducting research and analysis
Experience writing reports, briefing documents, and/or legislative analyses
Experience working on projects while maintaining cooperative working relationships with others
Copy of transcript or diploma if using education to meet minimum qualifications
Verification of United States course/degree equivalency for foreign education
Complete employment information on the STD 678 state application with dates, duties and responsibilities, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors
Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 or Electronic State Employment Application
