Responsibilities

Passionate learner that can understand the full capability and future potential of Storyful proprietary social analysis tools
High level of creativity and problem-solving to identify the best ways to use social data to answer client needs
Proficient in data query development and creating bespoke methodologies
Take ownership of the client brief, translating client needs into achievable research and strategy questions that inform research design
Serve as the arbiter of quality across outputs produced for clients, working with editorial, project management and design teams to meet internal standards
Manage the lifespan of the client project, coordinating internal resources and maintaining oversight of team outputs to ensure on-time delivery
Conduct research across a diverse set of sources, specifically social and digital media, influencer engagement, consumer sentiment and narratives to drive recommendations
Partner with the Storyful Intelligence team to participate in new business prospecting
Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and strategy to ensure deliverables are aligned with strategic objectives
Translate data and analysis into actionable social insights to produce impactful strategies that can be applied to client needs
Lead presentations to clients across the project lifespan, including research briefings and strategic workshops
Serve as a key point of collaboration to drive client engagement across programs
Own ideation around client recommendations, working with internal and external stakeholders to develop impactful ideas that can be put into action
Work with team leadership to maintain and improve existing methodologies and approaches to ensure Storyful stays ahead of the curve
Collaborate with product teams to drive tool development and innovation
Drive internal expertise around relevant industries, staying ahead of emerging trends and the opportunities they may represent for our clients
Serve as a subject matter expert to support insight production for marketing and pre-sales engagements, including authoring blogs and newsletters

Required

Five to eight years of relevant data analysis and research and insights experience within a research, social media, corporate communications, marketing, consultancy, media or brand environment
Experience using online monitoring tools such as Brandwatch, Zignal, Meltwater, Netbase Quid, Talkwalker, and BuzzSumo or similar tools, along with the application of AI-enhanced solutions
Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities; including ability to glean creative insights across disparate data signals
Strong curiosity to learn and future-forward mindset to embrace new ways to create intelligence solutions
Experience delivering strategic guidance and insights for clients, which could include cultural, audience and digital insights for marketing, comms or strategic use cases
Strong written and verbal communication and storytelling skills
Strong client relations and project management skills, preferably in a high-paced environment with a deadline-driven culture
Ability to brainstorm and ideate approaches to answer strategic client questions through bespoke methodologies in collaboration with the Storyful analyst and product team, as well as client management
BA/MA qualified in a related discipline

Prior experience at a consulting, agency or research organization preferred
