Financial Paraplanner / Junior Advisor
Confidential company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Paraplanner / Junior Advisor to support their advisory team and deliver an exceptional client experience. The role focuses on client service, financial planning support, and administrative execution, with opportunities for growth into a Junior Advisor and eventually a Lead Advisor role.

Responsibilities
Attend client meetings with advisors, take detailed notes, and track follow-up action items
Prepare post-meeting summaries and client communications outlining next steps
Serve as a point of contact for client service requests and inquiries
Prepare meeting agendas, financial reports, and planning materials
Organize and maintain client files, paperwork, and documentation
Assist with onboarding new clients and managing ongoing account updates
Assist advisors with financial planning projects, including research, data gathering, and client analysis
Support portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and investment-related tasks
Shadow advisors during trading and portfolio management activities
Attend Investment Committee meetings to learn firm investment philosophy, market trends, and portfolio strategy
Collaborate closely with advisors and operations staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Learn advisory workflows, compliance requirements, and client relationship management
Progress toward taking on advisory responsibilities based on experience and licensing
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Financial planning: 1 year
Series 7 License
Series 65 license
Preferred
Prior experience in the financial services industry
Experience handling client paperwork, account forms, and operational processes
Series 7 and/or Series 65 licenses (or willingness to obtain)
Familiarity with financial planning or CRM software
Strong interest in financial planning, investments, and long-term career growth as an advisor
