Operations Analytics Manager

This role involves working closely with inventory, logistics, retail, and customer services teams to measure and optimize efficiency, provide clarity on business performance, and identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Own both supply and demand marketing performance measurements; you will synthesize performance data to define success metrics, publish performance reports, and thus find opportunities for improvements
Lead Performance Marketing Analytics; you will be the go-to person for the acquisition and retention business to seek analytical support
Support Marketing strategy; you will partner with business owners to define strategy and align analytics resources to ensure the implementation of the strategy and its success
Become the knowledge center; you will manage your learning agenda to identify and gather relevant data, accumulate insights, and provide recommendations for operational excellence
Understand and quantify operational efficiency metrics
Help design and implement milestone checkpoint data collection, and build measurement on it
Support operation strategy by providing relevant and high quality insights. Partner with business owners to ensure the implementation of the strategy and its success
Work with other analytics team members to leverage team synergy and ensure consistency
Become the knowledge center. You will manage your learning agenda to identify and gather relevant data, accumulate insights, and provide recommendations for operational excellence

Required

8+ years of experience in analytics that is focused on first-party data
5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with expertise in performance marketing, brand, and modeling
Proven track record of owning and defining framework for domain analytics
Expert proficiency in query languages such as SQL
Strong experience with designing, implementing, providing and interpreting results of A/B testing or causal inference models
Proven ability to deliver high complexity analytics projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of findings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships, solicit cooperation, and achieve results through collaboration
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Ability to work well independently and on a team
No travel required
4+ years of Sales/Supply Analytics experience
4+ years of experience in SQL, Reporting tools such as Looker/Tableau/Power BI
4+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting & Insights, G-Suite to support and drive Sales or Supply teams
5+ years of online product analytics experience
Expert in SQL
3+ years of experience with BI tools such as microstrategy, tableau, looker etc
Experience with statistical analysis and modeling, e.g. significance testing, regression analysis, etc
Expert in translating between practical problems and technical formulations and solutions
Proven ability to design and lead time-sensitive strategic projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of the findings
Proven track record of thriving with ambiguity
5+ years of experience in analytics that is focused on first-party data
3+ years of experience in business analytics
Proven track record of owning and defining framework for domain analytics
Expert in query languages such as SQL
Strong experience with designing, implementing, providing and interpreting results of A/B testing or causal inference models
Proven ability of delivering high complexity analytics projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of the findings

Preferred

Experience in eCommerce and Retail industries is highly preferred
6+ years of Sales/Supply Analytics experience
6+ years of experience in SQL, Reporting tools such as Looker/Tableau/Power BI
6+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting & Insights, G-Suite to support and drive Sales or Supply teams
Masters in Business Analytics
Extensive experience doing data analysis, modeling, and/or financial analysis to support and drive business decisions
Expertise in Sales forecasting, strategic insights, analytics, and reporting
Demonstrable ability to partner effectively with supply leaders and stakeholders
Focused and organized; able to work on multiple projects and priorities concurrently while prioritizing and executing effectively
eCommerce industry experience highly preferred
Experience with clickstream data highly preferred
Experience in two-sided marketplace highly preferred
