Technician Apprentice

Warehousing
Responsibilities
Perform quality minor repairs and maintenance on Diesel Engines/ Heavy Duty Trucks as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures
Assisting in accurately completing all required paperwork (e.g., repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections) promptly
Assisting with diagnosing failure of vehicles by disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts
Dedication and adherence to all Company and industry safety standards
Inspect protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks
Reading job orders, observing and listening to vehicles in operation to determine malfunction and plan work procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Currently enrolled in a Diesel Technology Program
Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite
