Responsibilities

Generating WIP and A/R reports
Reviewing time entries on pre-bills and requesting revisions of insufficient entries
Processing edits of attorney’s time entries
Assist with month- and year-end close process for the billing department
Transferring attorney’s time between client-matters
Participating in our customer support process
Gathering and organizing supporting documentation for expense charges
Assisting Billing Specialists in preparing and posting pre-bills and bills

Required

Must have the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technical skills and knowledge; seek out avenues to enhance technical skills
Position requires outstanding written and verbal communications skills, excellent organizational skills and the ability to strategize, multi-task and prioritize
Ideal candidate has an exemplary customer service mindset, is highly motivated, and enjoys a team-oriented atmosphere
An ownership mentality, a commitment to proactive communication and exceptional follow through skills are absolutely essential for success in this position
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and to pivot quickly, responding with flexibility to changing priorities and work demands
Ability to work overtime as necessary
Candidate must have strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite, and an ability to leverage technology in work processes

A college degree is preferred, but not necessary
No legal billing experience is required
