Responsibilities

Supports Global Supply Chain Terms and Conditions negotiations, and reuse for all Sikorsky procurements
Review, negotiate, and provide guidance on subcontract terms and conditions primarily focused on clauses reserved for Legal review and approval
Interpret regulations and subcontract language to ensure compliance
Support risk mitigation and issue resolution related to subcontract terms and conditions for modifications to clauses reserved for Legal review and approval
Interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Primary interface with Global Supply Chain Legal / IP Legal on clauses reserved for Legal review and approval

Required

Legal experience or education, such as a JD
Experience in contract negotiations for Commercial / Noncommercial agreements
Experienced and effective communicator (written, verbal and presentation)
Experience working for a large defense contractor
Experience analyzing, resolving, and negotiating supplier exceptions to terms and conditions
Experience in Federal procurement law
Experience within a supply chain or compliance role with a detailed awareness of supply chain management needs
Experience in data analytics and / or process improvement
Demonstrates sound judgment and navigates through complex situations with diplomacy
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, resolve complex issues, develop negotiation strategies, and provide creative solutions
Ability to work independently, establish priorities, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and influence internal and external business partners / customers
