Responsibilities
Post-training large language models using SFT, DPO, RLHF, and related methods
Designing preference datasets, feedback loops, and evaluation pipelines
Improving reasoning, controllability, and robustness in frontier-scale models
Experimenting with continuous learning and task specialization
Partnering closely with infra engineers to run experiments on large GPU clusters
Translating research ideas into systems that ship
Qualification
Required
Strong experience fine-tuning or post-training large language models
Hands-on work with SFT, LoRA/adapters, DPO, RLHF, or adjacent techniques
Comfort reading and implementing cutting-edge research
Solid engineering fundamentals (Python, PyTorch, distributed training)
Preferred
Experience at a frontier lab, strong AI startup, or research-heavy ML team is a plus
PhD is welcome but not required if you've done real LLM work in industry
