Responsibilities
Assists with research, development, and/or validation of new policies, procedures and/or instruments
Manages stock levels, rotation, and monitors expiration
Performs laboratory procedures and calculates, transcribes and records test results
Prepares and manages specimens for analysis, refers results to Pathology, correlates results and communicates and documents findings
Performs Manual Result Review and proficiency testing
Performs maintenance procedures on laboratory instruments and/or equipment
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
Entry Level - Experience not Required
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - ASCP - ASCP, Must obtain within one year
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
