Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance full-stack applications
Implement and manage complex integrations with external partners and APIs
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, other departments within the organization, external vendors, and other engineers to define and implement new features
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
Work with Sequelize-TypeScript for database operations and management
Contribute to architectural decisions and help improve our development processes
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in full-stack development
Proven experience working with Nest.js and TypeScript in a professional setting
Strong proficiency in Sequelize-TypeScript for database interactions
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge and experience with Clean Architecture principles
Experience in designing and implementing complex integrations with external partners
Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred
Previous experience working in a startup environment
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Knowledge of real-time data processing and distributed systems
Experience building enterprise-level software
Experience in the insurance, financial, or high-scale consumer-facing industries
