Responsibilities
Support the design, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise-level UNIX/Linux systems within the Insider Threat Platform (ITP) environment
Ensure the stability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure by executing system administration best practices, performing advanced troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
Qualification
Required
Active Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline – or equivalent professional experience administering enterprise UNIX/Linux systems
Demonstrated experience managing and supporting UNIX/Linux servers in an enterprise or mission-critical environment
Strong proficiency in Linux installation, configuration, hardening, and lifecycle management
Hands-on experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and advanced troubleshooting
Experience performing regular security checks, vulnerability remediation, and compliance-driven system maintenance
Proficiency with shell scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate operational tasks
Working knowledge of network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls
Experience supporting backup and recovery processes, fault-tolerant configurations, and data protection strategies
Ability to provide Tier III support for complex technical issues
Experience documenting operational procedures, configuration standards, and troubleshooting guides
Ability to collaborate with engineering, security, and cross-functional technical teams
