Review and verify import/export documentation for completeness and compliance
Classify commodities according to Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes
Calculate duties, taxes, and fees accurately
Communicate with clients, carriers, and customs authorities to resolve discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and import/export laws
Assist in audits and provide documentation for compliance purposes
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in customs entry preparation, preferably in a freight forwarding environment
Proficient in CargoWise (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of U.S. customs regulations and import/export compliance
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
