Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on extrusion equipment including presses, billet loaders, ovens, pullers, and saws
Maintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and PLC-controlled devices
Perform electrical work up to 480V, including wiring, MCCs, and control panels
Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts such as vibration analysis and thermography
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on equipment upgrades, energy efficiency, uptime, and scrap reduction
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of bearings, hydraulics, and schematics
Ability to perform 480V troubleshooting using a volt meter
At least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting
Comfortable reading schematics and working with PLCs
Preferred
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs
