Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
Lead and manage a crew of 2 to 6 team members, based on experience
Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately
Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement
Supervise daily tasks and ensure project timelines are met
Transport tools, materials, equipment, and supplies to work sites
Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety
Qualification
Required
4-6 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Installer
Ability to read blueprints and interpret project requirements
Proficient in installing duct work and related equipment
Experience in leading and managing a team
Proficient with the use of hand tools and tape measure
Knowledge of HVAC, duct work, and metal fabrication
Ability to perform laboring duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair
Capability to work with hand tools
Physical ability to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation
Ability to work well with others
