Sr. Analyst, People Analytics
Lidl US is searching for the next Senior Analyst, People Analytics to join our HR team! The Sr. Analyst is responsible for providing high-level metrics and deep-dive strategic analysis for the Human Resources department, collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficiency across systems and communications.

Responsibilities
Define KPIs, run complex analyses, and utilize 'data storytelling' to translate metrics into actionable business insights for leadership
Advise on organizational structure and efficiency; maintain and audit job descriptions to ensure alignment with business growth and scalability
Lead the annual Personnel Planning process through modeling and in-depth analysis; monitor personnel costs and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints
Act as a problem-solver rather than a processor; independently identify trends (e.g., turnover patterns, span of control issues, or productivity gaps) within datasets without being explicitly asked
Build and maintain data solutions primarily within the Google Workspace environment, ensuring seamless data flow between SAP, ADP, and SuccessFactors
Manage projects and work processes to ensure efficient workflow; identify and propose opportunities for business process optimization
Serve as the subject matter expert on how information is logged and tracked; partner with controlling and data administration teams to ensure data integrity
Create training documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for stakeholders regarding cross-departmental data projects
Qualification
Required
Exceptional analytical skills with a natural inclination to investigate the 'why' behind the numbers
While proficient in Excel and Power BI, you must be able to transition to a Google-centric environment
Specific experience using Google Sheets (Query functions), AppSheet, and Looker Studio to build automated data solutions
Experience with SAP Query and familiarity with SuccessFactors or ADP
Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences
Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
Bachelor's degree in HR, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
2–4 years of experience across the Three Pillars (People Analytics, Org Design, and HR Planning)
In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in a related field will meet requirements
