The Quality and Informatics Coordinator will assist with administrative duties related to the PACS system and coordinate clinical functions within the Radiology department, ensuring compliance and quality service delivery.

Responsibilities
Patients and families are served by assuring that exams performed are of high quality and that service is prompt and accurate
Physicians are served by coordinating department efforts towards quality imaging and workflow
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a two-year AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
Competency in various modalities within the Radiology department
Experience as an imaging specialist or working group leader
Must be registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
Good computer skills and experience working with PACS and/or other Information systems
Good communication skill to interact with patients, employees, other team members and physicians
Demonstrates team leadership abilities and able to handle stressful situations properly
Demonstrates commitment to continuing professional development
Requires walking and standing throughout shift
Ability to lift some computer equipment (in excess of 30 lbs.) at times
Preferred
Additional advanced Imaging certifications desired
