Responsibilities
Support the Supply Chain department to analyze, recommend, and execute packaging changes to improve palletization density
Evaluating the structure and integrity of packaging
Materials used to produce
How it will fit into our Warehouses and customer facilities
Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and Warehouse teams to gather necessary data points
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree at an accredited college or university
Authorized to work in the United States
Availability to meet both the work location and work schedule requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or related degree track
Currently a rising Senior
Fundamental understanding of packaging materials (paperboard, corrugated, plastics, molded fiber)
Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
Ability to read and understand basic dimensions, drawings, and specifications
Comfortable working in Excel (sorting data, basic formulas, organizing large datasets)
Comfortable working with physical samples and lab testing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred
Experience working within TOPS, CAPE, ArtoisCAD, SpecRight, ASANA, and/or PLM Systems a plus, but not required
