Responsibilities

The Administrative Education Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the System Director of Clinical Education and the broader nursing education team
This position provides high-level administrative and operational support that enables the smooth delivery of system-wide clinical orientation and digital learning initiatives across Baystate Health
The role requires travel between facilities and close collaboration with multiple departments and service lines
The Administrative Education Coordinator schedules meetings, and educational events; maintains accurate documentation and records; and supports internal communications to ensure timely information sharing
The role also assists with digital learning platforms, compliance reporting, payroll timekeeping, and upkeep of the nursing education homepage
With a strong focus on organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail, the Administrative Education Coordinator helps ensure nursing education initiatives run efficiently and effectively in support of high-quality patient care

Required

High School Diploma or GED, required
Minimum of 3 years of administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare or education, required
Experience with digital platforms and learning management systems, required
Travel to Baystate Wing (Palmer), Baystate Noble (Westfield), Baystate Franklin (Greenfield), and other BH facilities, required

Preferred

Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration, or Healthcare Management, preferred
Experience supporting nursing education or clinical departments, preferred
Knowledge of healthcare compliance and reporting standards
