They are seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Material Flow to lead initiatives that optimize material flow and drive operational excellence in warehouse and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain PFEP for all materials to ensure optimal flow and inventory accuracy
Design and implement material flow strategies to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize space utilization
Configure and support Warehouse Management (WM) system setup and integration with ERP systems (SAP experience strongly preferred)
Lead process improvement projects using Lean principles and data-driven analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, IT) to ensure seamless execution of logistics strategies
Analyze material handling equipment needs and recommend solutions for efficiency and safety
Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions to meet operational targets
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering or logistics within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Strong knowledge of PFEP methodology, material flow design, and warehouse layout optimization
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Strong communication and leadership abilities to influence and drive change
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field
SAP experience strongly preferred
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WM) and ERP integration (SAP preferred)
