Responsibilities
Develop, create, modify, operate, integrate, test and maintain software systems or platforms
Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Containerize existing codebases using Docker and other container technologies
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions
Ensure security of software and systems
Work with Agile teams in high-level design, development, implementation, integration and verification of software components
Attend and Participate in Periodic Large Scale Agile Planning events, as well as standard Agile meetings (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives)
Develop computer program documentation and operational procedures
Provide diagnostic support to correct processing anomalies in complex computer programs
Assist in the preparation of specifications and other activities that require knowledge of programming principles and techniques
Interpret requirements and performs analysis to ensure that objectives are met
Support other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of relevant experience in software engineering
Experience with Java and C++ REQUIRED
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Google Test, or similar
Experience containerizing applications using Docker
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
This role is 100% on-site and requires daily presence at the designated facility
Wide breadth of expertise in development languages, tools and environments in the design and development of software-centric solutions
Producing design documentation and as-built documentation with little or no assistance
Bachelor's Degree Required
Minimum Active Secret Security Clearance required
Preferred
Top Secret Security Clearance preferred
Kubernetes experience a plus
