Responsibilities
Architecture and Hardware Designs, develops, Avionic compute and distributed system hardware (, lidar, radar, gnss antennas, satcom and RF antennas)
Design and test other analog/digital devices components such as navigation hardware, communication hardware (satcom, RF, cellular), air DC-DC converts and protection circuitry
Perform electrical analyses, circuit and RF simulation and test, components sizing and selection, create electrical schematics and PCB layouts
Support engineering trades, estimates and interact with suppliers/partners on critical components and develop hardware from concept to mass production
Support developing hardware and component level requirements/specifications
Increase the engineering rigor behind designs, verification, and documentation
Perform prototype hardware and systems in labs
Perform formal verification testing including DO-160 and DO-254
Qualification
Required
Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years HDE experience
Preferred
Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
Experience with the project management of technical projects
