Responsibilities
Responsible for creating and optimizing electronic circuits, which can include analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
Utilize advanced software tools for circuit design and simulation to confirm that the circuits meet specific performance criteria and regulatory standards
After designing circuits, conduct thorough testing to validate performance and reliability
This involves identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the testing phase
Work closely with other engineers, such as hardware and software engineers, to integrate designs into larger systems
This is essential for ensuring that the final product functions as intended
In addition to designing new circuits, you are often involved in the troubleshooting and optimization of existing designs to enhance performance and reliability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Deep Cloud-Native Architecture Knowledge: Experience with designing and implementing cloud-native architectures across multiple platforms, including AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, and Google Cloud, with a focus on scalability and maintainability
Advanced Modernization Methodologies: Experience with modernization methodologies such as Application Modernization Method (AMM) and tools like IBM Cloud Automation (ICA) to accelerate transformation and drive business outcomes
AI Integration Expertise: Experience with integrating generative AI capabilities, such as Watson, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, and Vertex AI, into modernized applications to enhance functionality
Must hold and maintain TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI
Preferred
Deep understanding of electronic principles, semiconductor devices, and integrated circuit (IC) design processes
Analog and digital circuit design to meet specific functional requirements and power consumption, size, and cost
Utilizing sophisticated design tools and simulation software, develop schematics and layouts that convert theoretical concepts into practical, functional circuits
