The Boeing Company is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Project Management Specialist to join their Satellite Factory Integration team in El Segundo, CA. The role involves developing and integrating project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting Lean Enterprise activities throughout the Satellite Factory.

Responsibilities

Developing and integrating project plans, pipeline and resource metrics for deliverable hardware by developing and maintaining documentation/data for various leadership presentations
Participating in establishing, monitoring, and integrating space and satellite hardware project elements and coordinating with stakeholders
Evaluating, refining, validating, and resolving schedule alignment issues and coordinate trend data to provide recommended changes to stakeholders to execute across various feeder factories while overseeing plan optimization
Assisting and/or leading in planning efforts across various programs and projects to determine constraints, risks, opportunities, and integration strategies
Analyzing and maintaining capacity analysis throughout Satellite Factory work-cells and future business opportunities for key stakeholders/leadership
Supporting Lean Enterprise activities throughout the Satellite Factory
Coordinates, integrates, analyzes, integrated production plans for programs currently in the El Segundo Factory
Provides studies/analysis (capacity), reports, planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives
Identifies risk and opportunity potential, works with production teams to develop mitigation plans
Develops and establish lead time requirements for resources
Facilitates integration of production plans, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
Directs production phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception in the factory through completion

Required

Bachelor's Degree or higher
5 + years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
5 + years of experience using Microsoft Project
Experience in product support
5 + years of experience leading teams or projects to successful completion
5 + years of experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules, including the use of project management tools and software such as MS Project, Milestones, Primavera, Open Plan Professional, etc
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/ SCI Clearance Post-Start is required
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position

Preferred

Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering field
Active Top Secret Clearance or Tier 5 (T5) clearance
5 + years of experience working on space flight and/or military hardware
Experience developing and maintaining integrated resource-loaded project schedules
Experience in a fast-paced Aerospace production environment with cross-functional teams
5 + years of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments
