Renewable Energy Superintendent (United States)
Rachel Contracting is a specialty site-work contractor performing earthwork, demolition and utilities primarily in the Midwest/Central US region. They are seeking a Renewable Energy Superintendent to manage site grading for industrial, solar, and wind construction projects while ensuring adherence to safety policies and construction schedules.

Responsibilities
Performing site grading for industrial, solar and wind construction projects which includes road improvements, drainage improvements, road maintenance, dewatering, soil correction, foundation excavation and backfill, utilities and any other necessary civil improvements required for a project
Communicate with subcontractors in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays and assure on-time delivery
Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules by way of daily communication with the Project Manager and General Superintendent
Manage a workforce of approximately 5 to 25 team members (operators and laborers)
Assist Project Manager with expediting materials procurement, schedule, and project documentation
Implement company safety policies and assure all personnel adhere to the project safety regulations
Travel will be required for this position
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil construction
Ability to be a team leader under challenging conditions
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple operations
Demonstrate ability to promote a safe work environment
Dependability: showing initiative and good follow through
Ability to problem solve and adjust to changing circumstances
