Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of technical support, focused primarily in the areas of recruitment and staffing
Coordinates with management officials to recruit for position vacancies
Creates and posts vacancy announcements
Rates resumes for qualifications, hiring preference/priority criteria and other job-related criteria; refers qualified candidates to management for consideration
Responds to applicant and management inquiries on procedures such as application procedures, application statuses, criteria used in qualifications decisions

Required

Possess six (6) months of progressively responsible clerical/administrative experience, which demonstrates the ability to accomplish various human resources tasks and utilize human resource information systems
Possess six (6) months of work experience in a human resources profession which demonstrates the capability to perform a variety of recruitment functions, such as posting vacancy announcements and rating applicants for qualifications and eligibility
Possess experience utilizing an automated recruitment and staffing system (i.e. USA Staffing, Avue, Resumix, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Possess prior experience using Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work with a variety of human resources information systems
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position
A one-year probationary period may be required
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check
Must complete CHRA NAF Career Path I within 18 months of position placement

Preferred

Applicants will possess prior work experience in a NAF Human Resources Office in a recruitment and placement capacity
