Responsibilities
This role supports both Austin and Taylor procurement work including suppler sourcing and management, RFP/RFQ demands, investment support, and efficient procurement process execution
Responsible for collaboration between suppliers and end user teams to assist with finding mutually beneficial business outcomes
Work with high sense of urgency to provide strong support for the business
Excellent communicator who exhibits a pro-active work style and understands the various constraints within each transaction to add value and goodwill with each request result
Qualification
Required
3 to 5 years of experience in procurement or related supply chain management field
B.S. in business management, supply chain management, or related field
Strong understanding of core supply chain functions, including but not limited to: logistics, RFP/RFQ, MRP and PO
Experience in negotiating and managing goods and service contracts (up to $10M)
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
3+ years of related experience
Excellent communicator who exhibits a pro-active work style and understands the various constraints within each transaction to add value and goodwill with each request result
Preferred
CPM/CPSM/CPIM certification a plus
