Product Management Specialist II

Responsibilities
Support the product line strategy by leveraging multiple data sources for market and competitive analysis. This includes:
Development of product plans and execution of those plans
Developing annual product portfolio strategy/plan
Developing product roadmaps
Driving product or process enhancement projects
Managing the product backlogs
Other overall product lifecycle activities
Developing and implementing product readiness and go-to-market plans for customer facing improvements including monitoring performance KPIs and working with all departments to ensure a product’s successful launch and continued market adoption
Liase with credentialing, content, marketing and sales team to ensure proper positioning, communication and successful execution of all GTM efforts
Work with vendor partners to identify areas of mutual improvement to ensure smooth delivery of services to exam candidatesCollaborate with business units to obtain budget
Additional tasks as needed such Tier 2 customer support for product-related escalations
Continuous engagement with customers and the market to stay aware of shifting trends and needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, product management, technology or related discipline from an accredited university
3+ years of experience in product management, program coordination, or a related field
Previous work experience in customer service, sales, product management, product development, or product marketing
Delivery and development of services, information, training, web based, and/or technical or software products
Familiarity with process improvement, consumer behavior, and product positioning
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to present new ideas, approaches, and information clearly
Ability to facilitate meetings and present material
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects, tasks and deadlines at once with a cross-functional team
Ability to remain organized & detail oriented
Strong time management skills
Comfortable working in a target-oriented atmosphere
Conceptual thinker that takes initiative and seeks possible solutions to problems
Ability to analyze data and gather insights from internal and external sources
Excellent teamwork skills
Strong leadership skills & ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Preferred
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, product management, education/learning, or technology from an accredited university
5+ years of experience in product management, program coordination, or a related field
International Organizational Experience
Certification, Learning or Educational Experience
Knowledge of product management tools (i.e. Jira, product plan or Trello)
Experience working in an agile environment
Experience data analysis
Experience with technology-focused B2B and B2C product lines
Product management training such as Pragmatic Marketing Certified
