Health System Partnerships Director

Responsibilities
Advance the company’s growth strategy by proactively identifying, researching, and sourcing new health system opportunities
Develop and maintain a deep, current understanding of US health systems, including strategic priorities and key executive and clinical leadership stakeholders
Research and map health system decision-makers to inform outreach strategies, relationship development, and opportunity prioritization
Serve as a market intelligence lead, analyzing local and regional healthcare markets, targeted health system growth strategies, competitive dynamics, and physician group landscape to inform growth decisions
Lead the new business screening process to determine which growth opportunities should be prioritized in the context of value to the company. In this capacity, analyze local market opportunities & strategies, growth strategies within targeted health system customers, competitive dynamics, local physician group dynamics, and financial opportunities
Develop and maintain detailed understanding of USACS’s service lines, regions, strategy
Establish and maintain close working relationships across multiple corporate functions (Finance, Legal, Operations, Regional/Clinical Leadership)
Design and review PowerPoint presentations summarizing due diligence findings and team recommendations for C-suite executives
Deliver on special business strategy projects as assigned by executive management (e.g., CEO, President, CFO), and Health System Strategy and Partnerships team members
Manage the growth of the business by outreach to prospective new business opportunities through phone calls and email messages
Prospecting and developing new business relationships, including representing the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events, using these forums to build relationships, develop sourcing leads, gather market intelligence, and advance active and future partnership discussions
Expected to handle sensitive company information with proper care and confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Experience working with C-suite executives
Experience in and ability to exercise considerable judgment, maintain confidentiality, and act in a diplomatic manner
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is able to work with a minimal amount of supervision, including the ability to independently identify, research, and resolve issues
Possesses strong attention to detail, curiosity in understanding the 'why', and desire to 'own' his/her role. Team player mindset
Strong manager and motivator of people
Produces a very professional work product and has a strong work ethic
Communication skills: An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization
Responsive to team members
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects against their deadlines
Willingness to travel
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook, including capability to efficiently complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
Possesses eagerness to take on growing responsibilities and leadership roles within USACS
Bachelor's degree
Healthcare industry experience
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds
Required to have close visual acuity to perform the job
~ 25% travel ability for conferences and client meetings (National conferences, State Hospital Associations, ACHE membership events etc)
Preferred
Experience managing or delegating to others preferred
Health system or physician group experience welcomed, but not required
