Start in 2026 SummerNewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is offering a 10-week paid undergraduate internship in Hospital Operations for currently enrolled students. Interns will work with administrative and operational leaders to support initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and patient care within a complex academic medical center.

Responsibilities
Supporting operational improvement initiatives related to patient flow, throughput, and capacity management
Assisting with data collection, basic analysis, and reporting of operational metrics
Participating in process improvement projects and operational planning activities
Preparing presentations and materials for leadership and team meetings
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across clinical and administrative areas
Qualification
Required
Completion of at least sophomore year by the start of the internship
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and professionalism skills
Preferred
Current undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Health Administration, Public Health, Business, Health Policy, Operations Management, or related fields
Demonstrated interest in healthcare operations, hospital administration, or quality improvement
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, in-person environment
