Mechanical Engineer, Navy

Responsibilities
Review customer specifications and develop comprehensive design proposals for various valve applications
Create CAD models and detailed manufacturing drawings from concept sketches and legacy designs
Provide technical support to internal teams, including quality, manufacturing, sales, and purchasing
Troubleshoot and assist with shop floor activities, from material issues to valve assembly and testing
Prepare procedures for assembly, testing, and qualification, and perform stress analysis for products and materials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering Technology field
Knowledge of manufacturing environments and processes
Preferred
3+ years of experience as a mechanical or product engineer in a manufacturing setting, ideally with engineered-to-order products
Familiarity with product data management systems and bill of materials development
Technical knowledge of valves and valve products
Understanding of ASME Codes and Standards
