Responsibilities
Provide technical support to laboratories, consultants, and government agencies
Review statistical sample data and modify settings as needed to assure appropriate participant evaluations according to CLIA and other requirements
Prepare Participant Data Summary notes, include opinions and interpretations of PT data and commentary on participant performance
Interface with manufactures
Maintain an awareness of new technical developments in laboratories
Participate in continuing education
Qualification
Required
Proficient in various laboratory techniques and disciplines
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to think quickly and remain calm under stressful phone situations
Comprehensive decision-making skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Well-developed writing skills
Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues or discrepancies
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
Ability to prioritize
Knowledge of Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred
Demonstrates a strong commitment to laboratory medicine, quality management, and continuous improvement
Possesses a passion for advancing the quality of laboratory testing
