District Leader
Responsibilities
Focusing on the recruiting effort to ensure Salons are fully staffed
Onboarding new Talent to infuse them into the Hair Cuttery Culture
Ensuring that all Associates, both Salon Professionals and Salon Leaders, are in compliance with mandatory training and requirements as determined by the Stylist Support Center, including Fair Treatment Policy
Coaching Salon Leaders to improve their leadership and business skills; recruiting, interviewing, setting financial goals
Giving consistent feedback and coaching sessions on a regular basis as well as delivering mid-year/year-end performance evaluations to Salon Leadership
Confirming that Salon Leaders are coaching Salon Professionals monthly
Creating bench strength that identifies potential leaders to grow and develop to an Assistant Salon Leader or Salon Leader
Conducting regular leadership meetings to support SSC goals and strategies
Growing client counts, service sales, and retail sales in every Salon
Following guest journey procedures and meets all specific guidelines
Ensuring the Salons are performing under consistent operating hours, executing service and retail promotions, proper merchandising presentation
Facilitating the entire Grand Opening Process of all assigned salons
Supporting the community, being part of local events, and assisting with Beauty School strategies
Increasing profitability and minimizing loss in every salon by controlling district expenses, holding the Salon Leaders accountable to control salon expenses, ensuring all cash management policies are being followed, training Salon Leaders to identify loss opportunities and analyze reports to take appropriate action, managing retail stock levels, and ensuring Salon Leaders follow all procedures to maintain accurate salon inventory
Evaluating and recommending potential real estate sites and lease renewals
Travel to/from salons or other work-related locations from 3 to 5 days a week, depending on operational needs
Qualification
Required
Must have 2+ years of multi-unit operational management experience
Proven record of successful sales growth and sales goals
Strong leadership and business skills
Effective communicator
Team player to meet company objectives and cultural accountability
Experienced in overseeing 100+ associates
Ability to travel across the region regularly
Flexible to work on weekends, holidays, and events are required
