Responsibilities
Design and architect end-to-end Snowflake data solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure
Implement data product–oriented architectures leveraging domain-driven design and data mesh principles
Establish best practices for data acquisition, modeling, integration, governance, and consumption
Create and maintain data pipelines using Informatica IDMC - Cloud Data Integration (CDI, Snowflake Native ELT scripts, and other orchestration tools
Ensure data solutions align with governance frameworks, security policies, and compliance standards
Define reusable patterns, frameworks, and architectures for data products across business domains
Collaborate with data engineering teams to build performant ELT processes and optimize Snowflake compute usage
Collaborate closely with business and analytics teams to translate needs into scalable data models
Drive continuous improvement through automation, monitoring, and performance tuning
Use Generative AI and agentic solutions to accelerate data product development on Snowflake
Qualification
Required
10+ years in data architecture, data engineering and BI solution design roles
5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including schema design, performance optimization, and security configuration
Strong Azure ecosystem experience as well as expertise in using Informatica IDMC CDI for building data integration pipelines
Experience with Informatica Power Center, SSIS, SSRS platforms
Life and Annuities industry domain experience
Expertise in SQL, ELT/ETL design patterns, data modeling (dimensional and normalized), and CI/CD for data pipelines
Deep understanding of data mesh or data product principles and practical implementation experience
Proven ability to design solutions integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
Strong cross-team communication and stakeholder alignment skills
Experience in Agile or product-driven data delivery environments
Preferred
Experience with Python, Spark is a plus
Experience with usage of Generative AI - Agentic and copilot solutions to accelerate data product development
