Responsibilities
Develop and maintain contract templates as part of the Contract Risk Management program
Perform preliminary contract reviews of commercial agreements (e.g., vendor agreements, business agreements, leases, and similar documents) using established document standards to identify key terms, issues, and deviations
Update and maintain contract data in a contract management software
Review and interpret corporate documents, legal communications, and other legal documents, such as subpoenas
Review and interpret moderately complicated rules and regulations
Ensure clear and prompt communication with business units and provide guidance on required actions as necessary
Maintain and organize legal documents and data in third party and proprietary systems, including ticketing systems
Research and respond to complaints from regulators and government entities
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have 5+ years of relevant experience
High skill level with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
High comfort level using custom or proprietary software, such as ticketing systems, contract management systems, and SharePoint/Azure
Experience performing legal research using legal research systems, such as AllRegs
Experience analyzing and interpreting regulations and rules
Ability to complete work timely with high degree of accuracy
Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to multi-task
Strong sense of accountability and work ethic
Positive and a good team player
Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S
Preferred
Experience in mortgage industry preferred
