Negotiate rates with carriers, entering and recording all terms and conditions of shipment agreements
Attract and retain qualified carriers
Match shipments to carrier’s specific needs and profile
Respond to carrier request for service and resolve load issues
Communicates with the sales and customer services teams on load status and problems that may arise
Manages a book of business in accordance with monthly goals
Performs other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Strong problem solving and negotiating skills
Customer service orientated
Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient computer, phone, and internet skills
Self-motivated to exceed daily and monthly goals
Strong negotiation skills
Strong phone, email and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook and Google Chrome
