Responsibilities

Evaluate site characterization data to define contaminant distribution, assess potential risks, and develop practical remedial approaches

Conduct and oversee field investigations including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling, drilling oversight, and contractor management

Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to plan investigations, prepare scopes of work and budgets, and support proposal development

Manage data compilation and interpretation using spreadsheets, databases, and GIS tools

Prepare clear, technically accurate reports, figures, and other deliverables

Contribute to proposal preparation, project scoping, and budget tracking

Perform quality assurance/quality control reviews of technical documents

Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality, on-time work products and ensure client satisfaction

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience working on environmental projects in New Jersey

Extensive knowledge of NJDEP guidance, rules, and regulations

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in technical writing and client correspondence

Preferred

Experience with due diligence assessments (Phase I ESAs, NJ Preliminary Assessment Reports) strongly preferred

LSRP license is a plus, but not required

Proficiency with GIS and/or environmental data management tools is desirable
