The State of Florida is seeking a Senior Management Analyst II within the Department of Health. This role is responsible for overseeing the management and operational coordination of various child protection programs, including supervisory duties and contract management.

Responsibilities
Perform independent and complex work for the statewide management and operational coordination of the statewide Child Protection Team Program (CPT), Sexual Abuse Treatment Program (SATP), and Poison Information Center Network (FPICN)
Responsible for all supervisory duties for the staff assigned to manage contracts for the CPT, SATP, and FPICN contracts including, but not limited to, hiring and selection, developing performance plans, conducting performance evaluations, planning, and directing work, approving leave, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate
Provide training and technical assistance to large and small groups
Conduct programmatic and administrative contract monitoring
Demonstrate flexibility in responding to demands and varying requests with ease
Work independently and communicate effectively with the use of proper grammar and punctuation both verbally and in writing
Qualification
Required
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Health
3 years of contract management experience
Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certificate
Willingness to travel 30% of the time
Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to provide training and technical assistance to large and small groups
Results driven and manages time effectively by prioritizing tasks and managing competing priorities
Maintains a calm and positive attitude while meeting deadlines with tight turnaround times
Demonstrates flexibility in responding to demands and varying requests with ease
Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to provide excellent follow-up
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the use of proper grammar and punctuation both verbally and in writing
Ability to read, understand, and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Strong planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Outstanding customer service when interacting with others
Ability to conduct programmatic and administrative contract monitoring
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to learn program specific data systems and computer applications
Preferred
3 years of experience directly supervising employees
3 years of contract management experience directly related to state of Florida Child Protection Team, Sexual Abuse Treatment Program, and Poison Information Center Network contracts
Experience monitoring contracts or grant agreements for compliance
3 years' experience drafting contracts, an Attachment I, or Scope of Work
