Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Deltek Vantagepoint administrator and accounting SME
Support and participate in month-end close, including project financial review, reporting, and reconciliations
Manage project close-out, ensuring accuracy of WIP, revenue, billing, and cost data
Configure Deltek workflows, security, and system settings to support accounting and project financial processes
Maintain data integrity across projects, contracts, billing, and financial reporting
Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Project Managers to streamline processes and improve system adoption
Lead Deltek enhancements, upgrades, and integrations in support of financial and operational needs
Build and maintain project, financial, and management reports, dashboards, and KPIs
Provide training and ongoing support to accounting staff, project teams, and leadership

Required

7–10+ years of experience using Deltek Vantagepoint (or Vision) in an AEC or project-based professional services environment
Strong background in project accounting, including WIP, revenue recognition, billing, and project close
Hands-on experience supporting or owning accounting-related month-end processes within Deltek
Solid understanding of the AEC project lifecycle and project financial management
Experience with system configuration, reporting, and workflow optimization
Working knowledge of SQL and reporting tools; Power BI experience a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and non-accounting stakeholders
