Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional
Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and must have completed at least 3 years of study
Candidates who have graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions
Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship
Preferred
Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree with a structural engineering focus
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous internship, project, or co-op experience
